The UVM Theatre announces their 2006-2007 season with tastes for everyone's palate presenting The Underpants by Steve Martin, running September 27th - October 8th, Macbeth by William Shakespeare, running November 1st -12th and La Ronde by Arthur Schnitzler running February 21st- March 4th.

The Underpants is a lively comedy adapted by that wild and crazy guy Steve Martin. During a parade in Germany for the King a young frau "drops trau" during a "brief" wardrobe malfunction that brings both romantic chaos and her fifteen minutes of fame. Macbeth tells the tale of tyranny, war and witches as Macbeth stops at nothing to be King. La Ronde is a circular dark comedy taking five couples and intertwining them into ten relationships. La Ronde is meant for mature audiences due to content. La Ronde will mark the UVM Theatre directing debut of the theatre's newest faculty member Gregory Ramos. The Toys Take Over Christmas will return for its 16th Season running December 2nd & 3rd and we will close with The Festival of One Acts in April. A special production of India Song by Marguerite Duras is in the works for December 1st, 2nd and 3rd with more information to be announced.
